everything has an inverse, if you can accept the original
somehow, i feel that math is a part of me.
it can describe a lot of things.
and somehow, my brain *finally* realized this:
it can also describe how u feel.

in math, there’s this thing called the inverse equation.
f^-1(x) = y
so that’s where i got it from.
it’s like an image on a mirror. it flips it left to right from where u stand.
the inverse of fear is faith.
but what is fear?
and what is faith?
how do i define them here?
fear - we see obstacles. we afraid and run away from what we do not see or know.
faith - we see obstacles. we afraid, but we say “fuck it.” and dive in.
fear is a bigger motivator than faith.
and fear is a signal that pain will arrive.
and u’re dodging it.
most likely.
it’s what makes us cowards.
real ones.
maybe ‘cause u don’t like that u’re in control of the circumstances.
this includes ppl looking at u, starting out as shit, “time management”, etc.
ur ego won’t let you…
because it wants a taste the dub of the experience now,
and not have to taste the “eat distilled, non-GMO 24-karat shit” stage.
it's not optional to be in pain. (especially to grow as a person)
but it's optional to suffer from it.
just like math, man.

there’s a chain in ur brain that must be broken.
and it’s about two words, brotha:
confidence & certainty.
discard the word confidence from ur mental dictionary.
it’s useless once u know y.
confidence & certainty are defined as:
confidence - u think u can. but u didn’t do enough shit to prove urself right.
certainty - almost arrogant-bitchy behavior on “x” task. ‘cause u’ve fuckn done it.
u do things to prove to ppl why u are da man at “x” field.
“x” → field of sport, business, skill, knowledge, etc.

sometimes the only payoff for having any faith, is when it's tested again & again every day.
and that’s what everyday is for me & for you.
an endless army of obstacles.
all obstacles are given.
some without warning.
but there is no other respectable way to live than to face it.
fight it.
win it.
and face the following soldiers.
sharpen the blade, brotha.
